Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. D. Netto to withdraw NET CHAMP (L.P.Beuzelin) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Imran Chisty replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on DEL SANTO. 

AZZURRO (P. Trevor) blundered approaching the 1500 Metres.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of BOLD MAJESTY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

It was reported after the race that ALAMEDA (P S Chouhan) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. L D Silva was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HAVELOCK PRINCE (C S Jodha) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Compulsary Samples were taken from the I, II and III placed horses viz.
