Racing Incidents

ZARAR (D.K.Ashish) played up in the stall. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified him fit to race. Trainer Sangramsinh N.Joshi has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

At the start, MUMBAI KING (S.Mosin) jumped awkwardly outwards. WILD SEA (S.Sameer, dr.7) jumped awkwardly inwards and went on to ZANTHOS (Amyn Merchant, dr.6).

Soon after the start, ZARAR (D.K.Ashish) and WILD SEA (S.Sameer) were tightened due to lack of room.  

MUMBAI KING (S.Mosin) ran unsettled in the early part of the race.

Jockey Anil Baandal (STARRIANO) has been cautioned for shifting in before the Red Marker.

ROCK THE TURF (Dashrath Singh) did not get a clear run through most part of the straight.

MUMBAI KING (S.Mosin) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

An enquiry has been initiated into the poor performance of ARMEL (Hanumant Singh) and a report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, ZARAR was observed to have a gum injury. MUMBAI KING was examined at the stables in the morning on 27-03/2015 and was found to be sound.
