Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Z Darashah to withdraw PRINCESS OF SYRIA (Sahanawaz) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right hind due to stifle sprain. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SHADES OF SCARLET (Mohd. Asif) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

BADSHAH (A R Pradeep)  was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K Somashekar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey A R Pradeep, the rider of BADSHAH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to SHADES OF SCARLET (Mohd. Asif) on his inside, passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Mohd. Asif, the rider of SHADES OF SCARLET, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar for riding an indifferent Race.

Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of HAUTE ECOLE, was severely reprimanded for completely easing his mount in the last few strides, when his mount was involved in a close finish. He was informed that in view of the fact that he has won the Race, no further action was taken, but for which, he would have been reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action and was further cautioned to desisit from repeating this practice.

ARCHER (S R Santosh Kumar) sustained deep clipped injury on left hind fetlock.
