Racing Incidents

REMEMBER ME (S.Zervan) jumped out awkwardly, losing about 3 lengths.

When questioned, Jockey P.Kamlesh (EGYPTIANA) reported that his mount did not respond to his urgings in the straight. The Sr.Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the filly and he reported that no abnormality was detected. The Stipendiary Stewards will be questioning the Trainer regarding the poor performance of the filly and will submit a report.

HIDDEN ASSET (A.J.Nilesh) hung out in the straight. Instead of changing his whip hand and correcting his mount, the Jockey continued using the whip with the right hand thereby aggravating the outward movement of the mare thereby taking APACHE (P.Trevor), who was travelling behind, outward.  Jockey A.J.Nilesh’s license has been suspended for 8th August,2015 (permitted to ride work/mock race).

After the race, PEPITO was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

After the race, FORTUNE HUNTER  found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, GOLD BAG was observed to have a cut injury at the right stifle. EGYPTIANA was found to be sound.
