As Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the declared rider of CANDICE, was unable to fulfil his riding engagement due to reasons beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. G Nityanand to substitute Jockey Mudassar Nazar to ride CANDICE in place of the declared rider. It was observed that IMPULSE (Irvan Singh) was hanging 'out' after rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported by the Club's Veterinary Officer that examination of the mouth of the horse revealed sharp molars. Hence, Trainer Mr. R R Byramji [being deputised by Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji] was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement]. Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of FLYING BULLET, reported that he accidentally lost his whip, passing the 150 Metres. CANDICE (Mudassar Nazar) sustained bruise on left hind planter fetlock. SWEET ANGEL (Afsar Khan) sustained bruise on right hind planter fetlock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g EVEREST. |
