ASCENDENCY (A.M.Tograllu) played up in the stall. The colt was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to have suffered a cut injury above the right eye and had blood stains in the left nostril. As such, ASCENDENCY was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
POWER SHADOW (App. S. Joseph, dr. 5) jumped out and went outwards and at the same point MANNEQUIN (App. D. S. Daman, dr. 7) jumped out and shifted inwards and bumped each other.
 
Passing the 600 metres, POWER SHADOW (App. S. Joseph) dropped back and shifted out on to MARVEL (D. K. Ashish).
 
Jockey P.Trevor (B FIFTY TWO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit. However, since the gelding was hanging in and the whip was used as a corrective measure, no action has been intiated against the Jockey. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that AEOLUS MAXIMUS and ANCIENT GLORY were examined at the stables in the morning on 28/09/2015 and were found to be sound.  AEOLUS MAXIMUS had kick-back sand injury to the left eye.
