Racing Incidents

RAKSHITHA (C. Henrique) was slowly away.

HUMMING BIRD (Imran Chity) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting short on left fore.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi (deputizing for trainer Mr. Nityanand G) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of SPANISH MOON, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to LOZEN (P. Trevor) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SOUTHERN SURPRISE, reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates which he regained within a few strides.

SOUTHERN SURPRISE (A. Sandesh) shifted in and caused interference to the horses on his inside viz. CAPITALIZE (Adarsh G), WINGS OF FORTUNE (Chetan Kalay S) and SPANISH MOON (Indrajeet Singh) approaching the 1100 Metres. Following an enquiry into this incident Jockey A. Sandesh was found guilty to a charge of Careless Riding under Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing. After deliberations, the Stipendiary Stewards decided to suspend Jockey A. Sandesh from riding in Races from 8-12-2015 to 18-12-2015 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding on his mount SOUTHERN SURPRISE in the above race (permitted to ride work).

CAPITALIZE (G. Adarsh) sustained bruises on left shoulder.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SOUTHERN SURPRISE.
