Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Anil Baandal to ride MR CARPE in place of Jockey S John, the declared rider.
COLOR ME (Shivnath Paswan) was examined at the Gates and observed to be trotting lame on left hind; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BUCETHALIS (N Tauseef Ahmed) was extremely fractious inside the Gates, whereby, the bridle came off; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.
TRIUMPHANT (A Velu) brushed the False Fails, in the last 150 Metres of the Race.
Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the rider of STARSTRUCK, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the Race.
DIVINE DELIVERANCE (Sahanawaz) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
It was reported after the Race that TRIUMPHANT (A Velu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of of his charge RECKLESS (N Rajesh), the winner of the above Race as compared to its previous run, in Race No. 56, i.e, The Brig. C D Mohan Memorial Plate – Div I, (About) 1100 Metres for horses rated 40 to 65, run on 6th Day, Wednesday, 16th December 2015, when ridden by the same rider, it finished second. The Trainer explained that (a) his charge was a very consistent performer; (b) in its previous run, it was running out badly between the 900 Metres till rounding the final bend, despite the best efforts of its rider to keep it on a proper course and thereafter it ran well to finish a close second; (c) the horse was examined the next day after the Race and was stated to have eruptions of Molars for which it was attended to; (d) he was advised by the authorities to take appropriate measures to correct it and he had used a “Hanging Bit” on and worked it regularly with hanging bit and the horse showed improvement in its behaviour and with one hundred metres extra to travel in the above Race, as compared to its previous run, he had fancied his charge to win the Race, which it did comfortably. His explanations were noted.
STARSTRUCK (N Ramesh Kumar) sustained multiple cuts inside both hock joints.
