Racing Incidents

MIZUNO (Dashrath Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

VERONIQUE (Shezad Khan) planted and took no part in the race. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter. Further Jockey Shezad Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for having ‘weighed-in’ 2 kg in excess of the permitted weight to be carried.

AMBROSE (M F Ali Khan) which was fractious in its stall reared up as the start was given thereby losing considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour Tr. Manvendra Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey S John, the rider of CAPTAIN HADDOCK, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
