At the request of Trainer Sanjay Kolse, FIRENZE was examined at 1000 hours on 10/09/2016 and was found to have urticaria.

As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, POINT (Amyn Merchant, dr. 4) jumped inwards and made contact with NOBLE CHIEFTAIN (S. Sunil, dr. 3).

At the start, MONTE GRECO (P. Trevor, dr.7) jumped outwards on to RICARDUS (R. Ajinkya, dr.8) and at the same time PACIFIC DUNES (Neeraj Rawal, dr.9) jumped inwards and brushed the haunches of RICARDUS.
 
Approaching 500 metres, TALON (Kavraj Singh) was observed to have stumbled and fell dislodging the rider due to which, RICARDUS (R. Ajinkya) and POINT (Amyn Merchant) who were racing directly behind, collided with the fallen horse thereby dislodging their riders.
 
Passing 200 metres CHILY CHILY (Yash Naredu) was observed to have shied from the whip and veered out dislodging the rider. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.   
 
The Sr. V.O. reported that TALON stumbled during the race dislodging the rider. On examination, the gelding was observed to have sustained fracture of the right fore cannon, hence he was euthanized on the Track on humane grounds.
 
After the race, PACIFIC DUNES was observed to have an abrasion at the right hock and POINT had a cut injury at the right fore cannon and right hind coronet.
