ch g RAMESSES, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Wednesday, 21st September, 2016 and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was advised not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Prior to the running of the race Tr. Vijay Singh informed the Stipendiary Stewards that his charge APERCUS would be ridden from ‘off the early pace’ as it was traversing over an extended trip of 1400 metres.
