BENGAL TIGER (Vinay Jaiswal) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed that it has been recorded on a number of occasions that horses under his charge had arrived late to the start and should this continue, he would be dealt with appropriately.

GERMAN GUIDE (Nirmal Jodha) was slow to begin.

Approaching the 700 metres VALENTINO (J Chinoy) travelling along the rails was checked by its rider and lost some ground when SCARLET EMPEROR (Nelson Maseyk) shifted ‘inwards’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Nelson Maseyk was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for shifting ground when not adequately clear of the other runner.

Jockey Afzal Khan, the rider of FLANKER, was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the indifferent handling of his mount during the running of the race and with particular reference to his riding between the 600 metres and the distance post. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to ensure that his charges run in a manner that leaves no room for query.
