Racing Incidents

Trainer  Mr. Neil Darashah  was fined Rs.10,000/- for Contravention of General Condition 5 of the  Prospectus  of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2016-17 in accepting MAGNIFICENT MARY in the above race and also on 16th December 2016 in The Kakanakote Plate - (About) 1400 Meters, Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 years old and over. Subsequently MAGNIFICENT MARY was not declared to start in the above race.

SIMPLE SUM (Darshan R.N) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behavior, Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of ISLAND PEARL was reprimanded for shifting out and bumping BAY SUNDAY (Shobhan Babu) approaching the 900 Meters.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of CLAIRE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to CASHMERE (D. Patel) on his inside approaching 350 Meters.

Jockey S. John, the rider of THEJAGUAR was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CASHMERE (D. Patel) passing the 300 Meters.

It was observed that BAY SUNDAY (Shobhan Babu) was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. Trainer F. Sirajuddin was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ATLANTIC CITY.
