Jockey S John, the rider of LET THE LION ROAR, was questioned as to the reason for not resorting to the use of the whip during the Race; The Jockey stated that he has ridden this horse earlier and it never responds to the whip; the moment the whip was used, the response becomes poor and, therefore, he had ridden it hands and heels, especially, throughout the straight; His explanations were noted for future reference.
