Explanation of Jockey Neeraj Rawal (TURF STAR) in the presence of Trainer Mahmood Khan that his instructions were to go to front and do his best in the straight but due to fast initial pace, he opted to position his mount at the rear end until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the colt did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and Jockey Neeraj Rawal was fined for riding his mount contrary to the given instructions and cautioned to ensure that such lapses do not occur in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
