Racing Incidents

Mr.K.S.Mandanna and Stephan Raj the trainer and jockey of YOUR HONOUR UNFAIR were questioned regarding the horses improved performance. Both the trainer and jockey stated that YOUR HONOUR UNFAIR had raced on the first day of the season and in the intervening period of 25 days since his last run had come on, the instructions being the same of either making the running or being up with the leader on both occasions. Explanations of the trainer and jockey were noted.  

GIRLISH CHARMO (C.Umesh) drifted out in the final straight to finish the race on the sand track inspite of the jockey's efforts.   

For using a Basket Bit instead of a Dexter Ring bit without first obtaining permission to do so Trainer M.M.Uthaiah was fined a sum of Rs.3000/-.
