Racing Incidents

The Club's V.O. reported that on physical examination at the Saddling Yard, DEEP DIVER was found to have unhealed injury on the withers, as such, the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with him to race.
 
The Stipendiary Stewards will be enquiring into the above incident and will submit a report shortly.
 
At the start, VALENTINO (D. S. Daman, dr.5) jumped outwards on to ARTISTIC (Amyn Merchant, dr.6).
 
Approaching 800 metres, ABBEY (C. S. Jodha) shifted in under urgings and went across HIDDEN SOUL (T. S. Jodha) who had to be checked. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
After the race, INCENTIO was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, VALENTINO and ARTISTIC (examined on 14/08/2017) were trotted and found to be sound.
