GAME AGAIN (Nazerual Alam) was examined at the Gates and observed to be  trotting lame on right fore; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

EXPORT QUALITY (Chethan Gowda) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', at the start.

STARRY WIND (Y S Srinath) jumped awkwardly 'inwards' and threw its head up while jumping out of the Starting Gate.

ORIENTAL MANDARIN (P Surya) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' at the start.

It was reported after the Race that examination of the mouth of the horse ORIENTAL MANDARIN (P Surya) revealed sharp molars and fresh injuries inside mouth and also reported to have sustained bruises on both hind back of fetlock.; Hence, Trainer Mr. M Bobby [deputizing for Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar] was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement].

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S Antony Raj, the rider of TREASURE QUEST, to the Stewards for Careless Riding [Rule No.161(i) of the Mysore Race Club Limited Rules of Racing] on his mount in the above Race, in that, as a rider of TREASURE QUEST, [a] After passing the 500 Metres, he moved out and caused interference to STARRY WIND (Y S Srinath), on his outside, which went on to FINAL DESTINY (Ashan Qureshi) on its outside, which in turn, further went out , whereby, IRISH PRINCE (Janardhan Paswan), which was moving on the outside, struck the front runner, viz., FINAL DESTINY (Ashan Qureshi) and stumbled; [b] Again, passing the 200 Metres, he improperly used the whip, whereby, he allowed his mount to drift 'out' and inconvenienced CANDICE (Suraj Narredu), on his outside; The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey S Antony Raj; After deliberations, they decided to (a) Suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey S Antony Raj from 27-10-2017 to 31-10-2017 [both days inclusive] and also, on 23-11-2017, for Careless Riding  [Rule No.161(i) of the Mysore Race Club Limited Rules of Racing] on his mount, TREASURE QUEST, in the above Race [permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal]; and (b) Severely caution him as to his future riding.

ALPS (J H Sunil Samson) sustained small cut inside right hind pastern.
