Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Abhishek S. Pawar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey S.S. Tanwar to be substituted on ROHINI.
 
TRUMPH BOY (A.A. Vikrant) dropped back from about the 400 mtrs finishing the course distance behind.
 
Explanation of Jockey K. Sai Kiran (NOVATURIENT) that his mount ran green throughout the race inspite of his best efforts.  As this being first run of the filly, Jockeys explanation was noted.  The Jockey was however, cautioned for shifting out at about the 700 mtrs in the process forcing out ROMA RIO (P. Ajeeth Kumar).   Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain.
 
ISLAND QUEEN (G. Naresh) lost its right hind shoe and sustained cut injury over left hind.  However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
 
App. B.R. Kumar (NEGRESS PRINCESS) and Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (ROMA RIO) were cautioned for shifting in and out respectively in the process bumping each other at about the about the 1200 mtrs.
 
IN COMMAND (App. Md. Ismail) returned bleeding from both the nostrils.
