DOMINATING GIRL(R Rakesh) was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer  and reported that it was lame on left hind as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Magan Singh was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race. In consequence of DOMINATING GIRL being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order a deduction of 50% on win and 50% on place was effected.

Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey G S Shekhawat were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of  GOOD DIAMOND . Trainer Magan Singh stated that he had instructed the jockey to position 3rd/4th and do his best on entering the straight. He was of the opinion that the horse was reluctant to pass the front runner and the jockey used the whip to pass over. The jockey corroborating the Trainer’s statement stated that his mount followed in the running of the front runner RANNVIJAY and was reluctant to pass, thereby he took his horse away and with the aid of the whip overcome the front runner. However, while noting down his explanation he was severely reprimanded  for not sufficiently persevering with his mount from the 300 mts of the race and told that his future riding will be closely monitored.

Trainer Zulfiqar Khan and Jockey Md Asif Khan were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of TOT O WHISKEY. Trainer stated that he had instructed the jockey to sit well up and do his best on entering the straight. He further stated that his charge is not in form and not won a race in this season. The jockey corroborating the trainer’s statement stated that his mount was not responding to his urges and he had done his best. Not being satisfied with their explanations they were reported to the Stewards. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Zulfiqar Khan and App Jockey Md Asif Khan. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Asst. Stipendiary Steward and on their own observation based on the replay of the  race the Stewards resolved to :-

i) Fine Trainer Zulfiqar Khan  a sum of Rs.5000/- for the unsatisfactory running of his charge TOT O WHISKEY.

ii) Fine Jockey Md Asif Khan a sum of Rs.5000/- for the unsatisfactory riding on his mount TOT O WHISKEY.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MIZILLA GOLD bled. In terms of RWITC Racing calendar notification the horse has been banned  from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder). Trainer I S Parmar was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that  MASTER NOVAK returned lame on right fore during the race. Trainer S Nawab was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner TERMSANDCONDITIONS in the presence of Trainer Sartaj Singh and was sent for analytical test.
