As Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the declared rider of DEODAR, was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the First Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey Anil Baandal to ride DEODAR in place of the declared rider.

It was observed at the Saddling enclosure that INTREPID WARRIOR (R N Darshan) sustained injury and infection of the right eye. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds; Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SARDINIA (Nazerul Alam) knuckled soon after the jumping out of the Starting Gates and as such, the rider lost his right stirrup momentarily, which, he regained with a few strides.

Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of BIG TIME BAY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and coming in front of IRELAND (P Kiran Rai), running closely on its heels, as such, the latter horse struck the front runner and stumbled, unbalancing the rider completely.

Jockey M Madhu Babu, the rider of STAR LAGOON, was fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to POINT (V R Jagdeesh), on his inside, passing the 350 Metres.

It was reported after the Race that examination of the mouth of the horse, SARDINIA (Nazerul Alam) revealed sharp molars; Hence, Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement].

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of SARDINIA, trained by Mr. M Eshwer and ridden by Jockey Nazerul Alam, in the above Race.

BIG TIME BAY (M Rajesh Kumar) sustained small bruise above left hind hock.
