Racing Incidents

CLASSY LASSY (Md.Hesnain) was permitted be withdrawn on veterinary grounds (swelling of both hind fetlocks with injuries on left hind limb). Trainer J.Sebastian was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.

ORANGE PEKOE (A.Ayaz Khan) was fractious and could not be stalled, was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders, SSC Revoked. The bookmaker’s liability was reduced by 12 paise in the rupee on all win bets and 25 paise in the rupee on all place bets.

PHANTOM PRINCE (Afsar Khan) was slow to start losing about 2 to 3 lengths.

Jockey Janardhan Paswan the rider of DAZZLE AWAY was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for keeping a wide course in the straight.

Jockey C.Umesh the rider of RUSHMORE was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for improper use of the whip in the straight wherein he persisted to use the whip on the right when the horse was lugging out in the final stages of the race.

The Club’s Senior Veterinary officer reported that BE MY PRINCE (Tanveer Alam) returned lame on his right fore after the race. Trainer Imran.H.Malick was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
