Racing Incidents

After being stalled, COLLEGIUM  (R.Ajinkya) played up in the stall.  The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr.VO and found to be sore by the right fore leg, as such, he was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order.  Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Also, COLLEGIUM has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
Thereafter, ROSPOMARE  (App.D.R.Shubham) also played up in the stall.  The gelding was taken out and was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Soon after the start, ORION’S BELT (T.S.Jodha) shifted in under urgings and made contact with STALLONE (Amyn Merchant) forcing it inwards on to SAFDAR (A. Sandesh). Thereafter, ORION’S BELT further shifted in and tightened HEROINE (S.Mosin). After questioning Jockey T.S.Jodha and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, POCO AZUL was observed to have a gum injury.
