Racing Incidents

At the start, GALLOP AWAY (M Chettri) & FIDELIA (Praveen Saini) were slowly away.

GALLOP AWAY (M Chettri) trailed the field, as such, Trainer Bharat T Singh has been asked to ensure that his charges run competitively in future as the gelding had won two races during the previous Delhi Meeting.

When questioned regarding his riding effort in the straight, Jockey Muzammil Hashmi (CAPTAIN ROY) stated that he was doing light weight and reduced his weight and therefore was not able to ride out. Jockey Muzammil Hashmi has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to sufficiently persevere with his mount in the straight.

The veterinary examination of GALLOP AWAY did not reveal any apparent abnormality.
