Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey A. Sandesh to be substituted on AMAZING RESPONSE. 

SEA CASTLE (Kiran Naidu) was slow into stride, losing about 1 or 2 lengths. 

Explanation of Jockey S. Zervan (NEWPORT) that his mount shifted out onto the runners drawn on his outside soon after the start inspite of his best efforts and thereafter was trying to run out throughout the race, noted.  The Jockey was however, cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount in future.  Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
