Racing Incidents

ROYAL COMMAND (Shamaz Shareef) was permitted to be withdrawn by the Stewards.

Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the rider of AKIMBO, placed Fourth by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of ASTARA, placed Third by the Judge, 'for taking me out in the 400 Metres, and also, in the 200 Metres and bumping me, due to which, I lost a certain Third Place'; The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined Jockeys Ranjeet Singh and S R Santosh Kumar; After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. 

Jockey S  R Santosh Kumar, the rider of ASTARA, reported that his mount was hanging out in the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

AKIMBO (Ranjeet Singh) sustained cut injury on left hind cannon. 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m TERI ADAH.
