Racing Incidents

SILVER SET (A.A. Vikrant) was observed to be trotting lame on right hind due to back sprain, as such the filly has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
PRIVATE EMPIRE (A. Ashhad Asbar) and KHLOE (Akshay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.
 
An objection lodged by Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (PRIVATE EMPIRE) placed 4th by the Judge against Jockeys Kiran Naidu (HAVELOCK CRUISE) placed 3rd and Akshay Kumar (KHLOE) placed 2nd by the Judge for " causing severe interference at about the 100 mtrs of the race when my mount was in full of momentum,  I was forced to check my mount due to which I clipped the heels of the front horse” that cost me a certain place"  was overruled by the Stewards and judges placing remaining unaltered.
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar was however fined Rs. 3,000/- for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race in the process causing interference to PRIVATE EMPIRE (A. Ashhad Asbar).
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar (KHLOE) was suspended by the Stewards/Directors of the club w.e.f. 31st January 2019 to 2nd February 2019 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he shifted in at about the 600 mtrs due to which GUSTY LOOK (Imran Chisty) who was racing on his inside clipped the heels of his mount resulting in Jockey Imran Chisty being dislodged from his mount.
 
The Jockey is however permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
 
KHLOE (Akshay Kumar) sustained bleeding cut injury over left hind.  However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
