Racing Incidents

BELLA DESTINY (Arshad Alam) was examined at the starting gate by the Club`s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr.F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Mohd Asif Khan, the rider of TOUCH YOUR DESTINY was fined Rs.2,000/ for the loss of whip in the final 100 Meters of the race (2nd infringement). Subsequently his use of whip during the races at Bangalore Turf Club was withdrawn.

CHULA VISTA (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of SHE`S SUPERB reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have sharp molars on both sides. Hence, Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence (1st infringement).
