Racing Incidents

The VICEROY was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer R.Karthik was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey J.Paswan the rider of CHAITANYA was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/- for improper use of whip.

AMICUS CURIAE broke a blood vessel. Trainer Fahad Khan was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Deepak Singh the rider of UKULELE was reported to the Stewards for his injudicious riding whereby he allowed the winner to take a lead of 2 to 3 lengths passing the 600 meters and did not get into his horse till about 300 meters. The Stewards not being satisfied with jockeys explanation decided to fine him a sum of Rs. 25000/- for his injudicious riding on UKULELE.
