OAK BROOK (Dashrath Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

An enquiry has been opened with particular reference to the interference received by APALACHEE (Suraj Narredu) and MYGRATOR (Akash Rajput) approaching the distance post. The result of the enquiry will be informed later.

At the conclusion of an enquiry which had been opened with particular reference to the interference received by APALACHEE (Suraj Narredu) and MYGRATOR (Akash Rajput) approaching the distance post, App P Vikram was interviewed by the Stewards. After due enquiry the Stewards found App P Vikram, the rider of MALANA, guilty of careless riding under Rule 161(i) in that he allowed his mount to shift ‘outwards’ when placing it under pressure which caused severe interference to APALACHEE and MYGRATOR. Consequently they decided to suspend App P Vikram from riding in races for the first two race days of the Calcutta Monsoon Meeting 2019, the date and day of which will be published in the Monsoon Prospectus 2019. The Apprentice was informed of his right to appeal.
