Racing Incidents

On arrival at the start, SUPREME BEING (Amyn Merchant) was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified him fit to race. Thereafter, SUPREME BEING (Amyn Merchant) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Ivor Fernandes has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, QUEENS GATE (S. Zervan, dr.5) jumped inwards on to ON VA DANSER (App. Raghuveer Singh, dr.4) causing the latter to be steadied.
 
Approaching the 800 metres, DANCING JADE (Kishore Kadam) shifted out on to ON VA DANSER (App. Raghuveer Singh), who in turn shifted out inconveniencing SUPREME BEING (Amyn Merchant). After the race, Jockey Kishore Kadam stated that his mount was very keen and in his effort to settle the filly, she had shifted out. The Jockey’s explanation was noted.
 
After the race, Jockey Bhawani Singh (BLAZING BAY) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race despite his efforts. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
 
After the race, BLAZING BAY  was trotted and found to be sound.
