Racing Incidents

BRAVE WARRIOR (P. Ajeeth Kumar) was examined at the Starting gates and was observed to be trotting lame on right fore, as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders. Trainer S. Sreekant was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting in a race.
 
GAZEBO (B.R. Kumar) reared up and got stuck inside the gates as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders. SSC revoked.
 
ON MY WAY (Dashrath Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 3 or 4 lengths, SSC revoked.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhed Asbar (BALIUS) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd but due to slow initial pace, he could not settle his mount and ride out on an even keel in the initial stages of the race and thereafter in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop was confirmed by Trainer R.H. Sequeira and was noted future reference.
 
ULYSSES (Irvan Singh) placed fourth in the race is sampled.
