Racing Incidents
JOY OF GIVING (App. Gaurav Singh) reared up inside the stall in the process dislodged the App. As such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters’ orders, SSC revoked. AIR SALUTE (App. Afroz Khan) planted in the gates lost about distance, SSC revoked. TIGER OF THE SEA (App. Surya Prakash) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths. Explanation of App. Abhay Singh (HURRICANE) that his mount veered out immediately after the start inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting out soon after the start in the process causing interference to SHILOH (Deepak Singh) and SOLO WINNER (C.P. Bopanna). Jockey R N Darshan (NRI HEIGHTS) and App. Jitendra Singh (CURCUMIN) were cautioned for traveling wide in the straight for no apparent reason. Both the Jockey and App. were further cautioned for losing whip in the final stages of the race when their mounts were in fighting position.
