Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Nakhat Singh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey B.R. Kumar to be substituted on INSIDE STORY.
 
CITY OF BLEESSING (Suraj Narredu) ducked in the gates and got loose from the front gates and ran the course riderless, as such the colt has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters’ orders, SSC revoked.
 
INSIDE STORY (B.R. Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.  Trainer K. Satheesh was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.
 
Jockey A A Virkant (THE PROSPECT) was cautioned for shifting out soon after the start in the process tightening PAINTED APACHE (Irvan Singh).
 
Explanation of Jockey A A Virkant (THE PROSPECT) that his mount tired and in the process shifted out in the final stages of the race inspite of his best efforts was noted. The Jockey was however cautioned to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (INDIE) that his mount shied and ducked by seeing shadow at about the 250 mtrs, due to which he lost control over his mount which he could regain after travelling a few strides was noted.
