Racing Incidents

PROUD LEGACY (App. Jitendra Singh) was observed to be trotting lame on left hind due to hamstring strain, as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
 
Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (CITY OF PASSION) that his mount was keen from upto the 600 mtrs and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight did not show any turn off foot and dropped back inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding has blood.
 
ROYAL VALENTINE (App. C P Bopanna) dropped back from about the 800 mtrs whilst travelling in mid bunch and finished the course distance behind. Trainer K. Sateesh was advised for a better performance in future.
