Jockey Surya P., the rider of LIFEISAMIRACLE was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing ANAKIN (Y. S. Srinath) on his inside passing the 700 Metres.

Jockey Chethan Gowda, the rider of AUGUSTINA was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 650 Metres and 550 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey Surya P., the rider of LIFEISAMIRACLE reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was observed that Jockey Rayan Ahmed, the rider of SKIATHOS had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner SILKEN STRIKER (Siddaraju.P) approaching 900 Metres.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath was questioned regarding his riding on ANAKIN in the above race. The Jockey stated that:

(a)    He was not given any specific instructions as to how he had to ride as he had won on its previous start;
(b)    He was inconvenienced by Jockey Surya.P (LIFEISAMIRACLE) passing the 700 Metres, however he rode from a forward position;
(c)    He added that his mount had a very short burst as such he had to time his run in the final 300 Metres;
(d)    Thereafter, he rode his mount out with the aid of the whip but could only finish second.

His explanations were noted for future reference.

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running and reversal of form of his charge CELESTIAL HIGHWAY (Nazerul Alam) in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.59 i.e., The Jog Falls Plate - Div.II (about) 1200 Metres, Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over run on 19th December, 2020 where it ran unplaced.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m CELESTIAL HIGHWAY.
