Racing Incidents

GREEN TURF (Akshay Kumar) was examined at the starting gates and was observed to be trotting lame on left hind, as such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.
 
Jockey Koushik (THRILL OF POWER) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting in soon after the start in the process crowding the runners drawn on his inside resulting in, interference to CERTITUDE (Suraj Narredu) and SOUTHERN PRINCESS (P. Trevor).
 
Explanation of Jockey Praveen Gaddam (FELIX FLAME) in the presence of Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed that his mount jumped out awkwardly and held the bit and was trying to run out throughout the race and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of App. R S Jodha (LORENA) that he lost his left iron stirrup soon after the start which he could regain after traveling about 150 mtrs as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage in the initial stages of the race. As this confirmed our observation, Apps explanation noted,.
 
Explanation of Jockey Md. Ismail (O' BRIEN) that his mount started dropping back from about the 700 mtrs and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts, noted.
 
SOUTHERN PRINCESS (P. Trevor) winner of the race is sampled.
