Racing Incidents
A Stewards enquiry was called immediately after the running of this race into the start of SCRAMJET (P.S. Chouhan). The Stewards having noted the explanation tendered by Jockey P.S. Chouhan, Starter, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and viewing the replay of the race on CCTV and acting on their own observation of the race have resolved that the SCRAMJET (P.S. Chouhan) was fractious inside the stalls and reared up just before the start because of which the Jockey got unbalanced in the saddle and held the side bar and jumped out awkwardly resulting in the horse whipped around and Jockey got dismounted, as such the Stewards declared H. No. 8 – SCRAMJET (P.S. Chouhan) as a nonstarter in the above race and ordered the Clerk of the Scales to give “All clear”. Jockey A.A. Vikrant (COASTAL CRUISE) reported loss of whip at about the 350 mtrs. Jockey Mukesh Kumar (CITY OF PASSION) dislodged after passing the winning post. However, Jockey was weighed in. Trainer N. Ravinder Singh cautioned to ensure that his charge THUNDER ROAD (App. Abhay Singh) the winner of this race, race more consistently in future. THUNDER ROAD (App. Abhay Singh) winner of the race is sampled.
