Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.B.Suresh to saddle HARAN (Abhay Singh) on behalf of Trainer Mr.J.Sebastian at both Trainers risk and liability.

AZERIA (P Surya) drawn 5 fly jumped awkwardly inwards as the start was affected and THREE OF A KIND (Azfar Syeed) drawn 3 shifted out immediately after the start tightening a causing interference to ARAZINGER (V R Jagadeesh) drawn 4. Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of THREE OF A KIND was fined a sum of Rs.1000 for shifting out soon after the start.

DYNAMITE GIRL (Stephen Raj) was slow to start losing about 2 lengths, lacked initial speed and ran detached throughout.

VINCITRICE (Shamaz Shareef) was observed to drift out passing the 350 metres and ended up travelling wide out despite jockey's efforts till passing the post and was asked to be examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer who reported that the mare was lame on right fore, due to injury to the fetlock. Trainer Mr.Dhruv Kumar Futnani was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

VIBRANT APPROACH (Iltaf Hussain) drifted out in the straight from the 250 metres till passing the winning post and was asked to be examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer who reported that the mare had (rightside) sharp molars, Trainer Mr. K. S. Mandanna was fined a sum of Rs.2,000/- for negligence in the discharge of his duties with respect to his charge.

Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of DANCE OF WAVES reported that his saddle shifted back during the race. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr M. M. Uthaiah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.

An enquiry has been opened into the running of this race.

Routine sample was taken for analysis from  the  winners THREE  OF  A  KIND  (Azfar  Syeed) and AZERIA (P Surya).
