At the request of Jockey Santosh G. the saddle on his mount ARCTIC BAY was adjusted.
 
In the process of stalling, ARCTIC BAY (Santosh G.) fell backwards and dislodged its rider. As such, the filly was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified her fit to race. Thereafter, the filly refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts. As such, ARCTIC BAY was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order . Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
ZUCCARELLI (Dashrath Singh) and SELENA G (K.Nazil) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths and 3 lengths respectively.
 
Passing the 300 metres, JOHANNESBURG (P.S.Chouhan) shifted out under urgings and went across SUPREME ANGEL (Neeraj Rawal) who clipped the heels of the former, stumbled and fell along with the rider.  Also, AAH BELLA (A.Sandesh) who was racing on the haunches of SUPREME ANGEL was inconvenienced. Thereafter, SELENA G (K.Nazil) collided with the fallen horse thereby dislodging its rider. After questioning Jockey P.S.Chouhan and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for 4 race days w.e.f. 11th April 2021 to 25th April 2021 (both days inclusive) for careless riding  (permitted to ride work/mock race).
 
After the race, SUPREME ANGEL was observed to have a clip injury at the right fore knee. FULL OF GRACE was found to be sound in the trot.
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that SUPREME ANGEL was examined in the stable area on 21st March, 2021 at 1945 hours and found to be bleeding from the nostrils. The filly is not to race for the stipulated ban period of weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
