Jockey Suraj Narredu was declared to ride GIANT STAR.
 
At the request of Jockey J Chinoy, the saddle on his mount SCRAMJET was adjusted and in view of the horse being fractious at the time of re-saddling, the right ear lob of the hood tore, as such, the same was replaced with the Club’s gear.
 
LIVE BY NIGHT (S.Zervan) jumped out and stopped galloping. In view of above, Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures and show the gelding in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.
 
Approaching the 1000 metres, EXOTIQUE (App.P.S.Kaviraj) leaned inwards on to RAYS OF SUN (T.S.Jodha) who had to be steadied
 
Passing the 1000 metres, due to a tightly packed field, TIGRIO (Y.S.Srinath) was tightened for room and had to be checked.
 
Passing the 500 metres, App.P.S.Kaviraj (EXOTIQUE) leaned inwards on to ASHWA SHEHANSHAH (Prashant P.Dhebe) who had to be steadied. Thereafter. App.P.S.Kaviraj was observed to have lost his left rein due to which he lost control and shifted in thereby bumping and tightening THE SOVEREIGN ORB (P.Trevor) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning App.P.S.Kaviraj and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been suspended for 2 race days for careless riding. Since his Apprentice Jockey’s licence already stands suspended till the end of the Mumbai Meeting 2020/21 for an earlier offence, it was decided that. should he apply for an Apprentice Jockey’s licence for the Season 2021/22, the same may be granted to him, however, his licence shall stand suspended for the first two race days of the Pune Meeting 2021.
 
Passing the 300 metres, ONE WISH (A.Sandesh) was denied a clear passage.
 
In the final stages of the race, GIANT STAR (Suraj Narredu) leaned outwards on to RAYS OF SUN (T.S.Jodha), who in turn shifted out on to TANHAIYAAN (P.S.Chouhan). Jockey Suraj Narredu has been cautioned.
 
Jockey .J.Chinoy (SCRAMJET) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
 
After the race, ONE WISH was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
