Racing Incidents

ARROWTOWN (Md. Ismail) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.
 
Jockey Aneel (GOLDRUN) was severely reprimanded for losing his position in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason.
 
Jockey Nakhat Singh (AMALFITANA) was fined Rs. 3,000/- for shifting in at about the 1200 mtrs on to ARCHANGELS (A.A. Vikrant) who in turn shifted in and caused interference to GOLDRUN (Aneel) and RACING RANI (App. Aforz Khan) racing on his inside.
 
Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (SIRI) that he accidentally lost his whip at about the 400 mtrs, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs.1000/- for losing his whip at a crucial stage of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (N R I SUGAR) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts and finished the course at the rear end of the field was noted for future reference.
