PALADINO (Kuldeep N B) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to tendon strain, as such the colt has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
Jockey Kiran Naidu (STAR DANCER) was severely reprimanded for failing to ride out his mount past the post though on a beaten horse.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (N R I TOUCH) in the presence of Trainer R.H. Sequeira that his instructions were to position his mount 2nd/3rd and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge  runs better as long as Jockey holds and when asked for effort the gelding drops the bit and fall back under pressure was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Trainer G. Shashikanth with regard to the improved performance of his charge NIGHTMARE (Mukesh Kumar) winner of the race who finished off the board that his charge was not liking the Sheep Skin Cheek piece, as such he opted to remove the same during the jump out where she performed well and also the filly was tightened soon after the start because of which she could not be positioned well up with field as compared to the present race the Jockey was able to position his charge well up with the field and removal of Sheep Skin cheeck piece and a better Jockey in the saddle have added to his charges improved performance and just managed to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge but given her a chance was noted. The Trainer was however cautioned to ensure that his charge race more consistently in future.
