Consequent to Jockey S S Tanwar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey R. Ajinkya to be substituted on KIMBERLEY.
 
Consequent to Jockey C Umesh not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Ajit Singh to be substituted on GREEK'S ACE.
 
Explanation of Jockey R Ajinkya (KIMBERLEY) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his instructions were to sit close 4th/5th but as he jumped out slowly he could not position his mount as instructed and thereafter he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 2,000/- for tender handling of his mount in the initial stages of the race thereby losing his position.
 
Explanation of Jockey C S Jodha (IN CONTENTION) in the presence of Trainer S K Sunderji that his instructions were to sit close 4th/5th but as he was crowded for room due to runners racing in front,  he could not position as instructed was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded for losing his position and dropping back in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (GEORGIA PEACH) that his instructions were go to front and do his best which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount started dropping back from about the 400 mtrs inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of App. Gaurav Singh (DREAM STATIION) in the presence of Trainer N. Ravinder Singh that his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer while confirming the above added that he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance was noted for future reference.
