MYSTIC STAR (Md Islam) was observed to have been eased back by its rider soon after the start and was finishing on in the concluding stages of the race. On questioning, both the Trainer and the Jockey confirmed that the instructions were to ride the gelding from mid bunch, come  the shortest way and to do the best in the straight, was noted. However, Tr. Manvendra Singh  was advised to ensure that his charges are run and ridden in a manner that leaves no room for query.

SECRET PEARL (Nikhil Naidu) swerved around immediately after passing the winning post dislodging its rider, the Jockey being caught by surprise. Further, the gelding jumped over the outer rails injuring itself. Under the circumstances Jockey Nikhil Naidu was exempted from the “weigh-in” drill. The Jockey was medically examined and declared fit to ride. On immediate veterinary examination the gelding was found to have sustained multiple cut injuries on right fore knee and both hinds.
