Racing Incidents

MARVELLOUS (App. Kirtish Bhagat, dr.5) jumped and veered out and thereafter did not raise an effective gallop. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.
 
Passing the 200 metres, TERESITA (Akshay Kumar) shifted out onto QUEEN O’WAR (A. Sandesh) who in turn shifted out thereby inconveniencing ANIMOUS (Bhawani Singh). After questioning, Jockey Akshay Kumar has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe pointed out that the saddle on this mount LIT had slipped during the race. Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.
 
After the race, LIT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
