Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw ANSALDO (Vivek) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of WINDSTORM placed 3rd by the judge objected against Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of FOUR WHEEL DRIVE placed 2nd for "In the last 400 metres FOUR WHEEL DRIVE came out, bumped me, whereby I had stopped riding, which cost me a certain second place”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of FOUR WHEEL DRIVE was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to WINDSTORM (Arshad Alam) on his outside approaching 350 Metres.

Jockey C. S. Jodha, the rider of MIGHTY RED was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting "in" and causing interference to WINDSTORM (Arshad Alam) on his inside approaching 350 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c BLACK COFFEE.

Permission was granted to trainers M/s. Rajesh Narredu, S.S. Attaollahi and Darius R. Byramji to deputize on behalf of trainers M/s. S. Narredu, P. Shroff and Parvati Byramji who were unable to attend the races.
