App. Abhay Singh (SOUTHERN ACT) was severely cautioned for failing to improve his position in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (PACIFIC COMMAND) that his instructions were to sit close in striking position which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight his mount did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts. Trainer R H Sequeira while confirming the above added that his charge previous to this race always ran in races which were for maiden horses and for the 1st time running in an open handicap race as compared to the previous races and also gone up in handicap, carrying top weight in this race has impacted the performance of his charge. The Trainer further added that he has fancied the gelding in this race based on the previous runs and opined that the gelding had ran to the potential was noted for future reference.
 
SMOLENSK (App. Santosh Raj N R) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised for a better performance in future.
 
ALLURI'S PRIDE (Rafique Sk) dropped back from about the 700 mtrs finishing the course distance behind.  Trainer G. Shashikanth was advised for a better performance in future.
