Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (BLAST IN CLASS) in the presence of Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju that his mount was hesitating to pass the runners in the straight when asked for an effort was confirmed by Trainer was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Trainer S K Sunderji with regard to the improved performance of his charge FARRELL (R. Ajinkya) the winner of this race as compared to the previous run that the gelding after the previous runs i.e. Race No. 46 had a setback (shore shins) as such he gave a long break of more than 2 months and ran in this race.  The set being weaker his charge could manage to win the race was noted.  Trainer S K Sunderji was however cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.
