Consequent to App. R S Jodha being injured at the Starting gates and declared medically unfit to ride, ROYAL PAL has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.
 
BLOOM BUDDY (Kiran Naidu) and ROYAL GIRL (B. Nikhil) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths respectively, SSCs revoked.
 
GRAND FINALE (A A Vikrant) planted and took no practical part in the race, SSC revoked.
 
SORRY DARLING (P. Ajeeth Kumar) dropped back from about 1000 mtrs and finished the course distance behind.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (N R I GIFT) that his instructions were to sit close with front bunch and come from inside, but as he was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of field in front, and also his mount stumbled 100 mtrs after the start, he could not position his mount as instructed in the initial stages of the race and in the straight he could not make his move from inside due to wall of horses  racing in front as such he was forced to make his move from outside and did his best. Trainer G Shashikanth while confirming the above added that his instructions to the jockeys on this horse were always same as his mount comes from behind and in the straight gallops well when the horse is covered from outside. Trainer further added that his charge is running with a tougher bunch in this race as compared to the previous runs where he has won, which was in a lower class and opined that the gelding has run to the potential.  However the jockey was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for failing to persevere with his mount soon after entering into straight whilst the front runners started making their move.
 
Jockeys Kiran Naidu (BLOOM BUDDY) and App Surya Prakash (FOREVER BOND) were cautioned for travelling wide in the straight for no apparent reason.
